Nepal Tours and Himalayan Trekking
If we haven’t met already, then welcome to the ACTIVE family!
We hail from New Zealand and are a small but fantastic Kiwi company doing things a bit different from the crowd by running outdoorsy, active and challenging trips in Nepal, New Zealand and South America (Peru, Patagonia, Ecuador and the Galapagos to be more precise). We’re not trying to dominate every corner of the adventure travel world. Instead we prefer to take a little bit of magic and personal challenge and share that with you in the places we know and love. So if you’re an interesting person who likes to experience exciting places, be physically active and meet amazing people, then our trips would be great for you.
We believe in pushing life to the limits. If you do too, then join us! Our trips are physically challenging, but designed for real people (although if you're the extremely fit type, we’ll make sure you work hard too!). To trek with us in the Himalayas, you will need to train. You will need to be prepared for more basic accommodation than you might be used to elsewhere. You will be eating unfamiliar food and trying new things. You may be uncomfortable at times. Then if you're tough enough not to let that stand in your way, you'll be richly rewarded with the full grandeur of the highest mountains on Earth - sights you couldn't otherwise see - and a powerful sense of achievement you can take home with you.
Personally, simply putting one foot in front of the other has taken me to more incredible places than I could have ever imagined. The first step for you is to fill out the form to the right to request a trip planner - packed with pictures, trip itineraries and inspiration for your travels - it just might be the start of something amazing. Keep putting one foot in front of the other… who knows where you’ll end up!
